Summary: Great Item - Makes Laptop Compatible with Bluetooth devices!
Comment: I was using an old pentium 3 laptop for work and needed to communicate with bluetooth printer, mouse and numeric keypad. This made it possible and has 30 foot range as well. Great item!

Summary: Works with motorola S9 !!!!!
Comment: It works great with the motorola S9!!!! After you update the driver with the chip makers software (Broadcom). Just go to http://www.broadcom.com/products/bluetooth_update.php to download the update. I have use it with Windows XP SP2 and SP3 as well as Visa. Have not gotten it to work with Ubuntu yet but i am working on it!

Summary: Careful with the antenna
Comment: The adapter works great, but the antenna is flimsy and broke in the first week that I had it.

Summary: Works for me!
Comment: I'm using Gentoo linux and this worked for me straight out of the box with the appropriate bluetooth kernel sources compiled in and the Bluez drivers up and running. It works great as a bluetooth receptor for me though I can't necessarily say the same thing about peripherals I use with it :'(
