Summary: Great Netbook case!
Comment: I bought this case to carry a 10" Asus Eee pc 1000H laptop (when they are that small they are called netbooks), and it fits very well! The computer is 10.5 x 7.5 x 1-1.5 inches, and even though the specs indicate that it shouldn't, it fits beautifully in the hard drive sleeve.
Besides the laptop, the case is also holding (with extra space) the computer charger, a WD passport HD, a slim external dvd drive, a laptop cable lock, a mouse and usb dongle, and a myriad of cables, thumb drives, headphones etc.
So besides the size of the case, I also feel that the case is very well built. The outside materials seem tough and durable, and the inside lining seems very soft and non abrasive. There is a great deal of padding built in to the case (on all six sides), and the side that holds your HD, portable dvd player, or laptop is semi-rigid and very padded. I haven't tried this out, but it seems like the case would be fairly water resistant (but definitely not water proof).
Long story short... this is a great little case!
As a side note, the same case is sold on Amazon under several different names and prices... so shop around (I saved about 7$)!

Comment: Probably larger than I needed. This will hold one of the older Seagate eSATA drivers, and two slim external shell cases. The cable pocket has plenty of room for the power adapters and interface cables. Haven't made excessive use of it yet, but it seems very sturdy and has good quality metal zippers.

Comment: Finally someone makes a portable case for all those external drives. Fits my Seagate FreeAgent and my HP external burner. Not in the same case though. I bought 3 of them.
