Summary: Skip this product
Comment: I have owned several PDA's ever since the first Palm Pilot hit the market back in the mid 90's (which, btw, still works fine). The OS on the HP locks up too much for me. I am not used to having my PDAs lock up. I can't say my Pilot or my current Palm Treo never lock up... but I can't remember the last time they did. The HP Wi-Fi and bluetooth work well, I give them that. However, the SD card slot broke just after the warrantee expired and now its useless. There are too many other good PDAs on the market to waste your time with this one.

Summary: Perfect for ME
Comment: I'm a full time student and I bought this PDA a year ago. It's been so nice for me to have. The WiFi is perfect. I can almost always get connected. The SD expansion slot is really nice for adding books etc (I have a few different versions of the Bible with commentaries for super fast and easy access). I love the note pad, I can write up things quickly or 'type' them in. Its also SO nice to use the Microsoft Outlook to update my contacts and calendar. It has a nice picture to it and its sweet for picture viewing. Adding tasks is really nice for homework and projects. The battery power is okay... It stays nicely (I do keep the backlight pretty dim... but dim is still a nice reading setting) but the power button gets pressed in my purse sometimes and drains it. I wish there was a lock button. The only negative I've had is that when I got through security at airports it COMPLETELY zaps my charge. Luckily I don't fly THAT often and when I do I can generally find a plug-in to recharge it. I would definately recommend this!

Summary: Use TCPMP to play videos on your IPAQ
Comment: I would not recommend using the Windows Mobile's Media Player on the IPAQ for playing videos. I would recommend downloading a free version of TCPMP DIVX player for the Pocket PC at the following location. TCPMP is a far superior video player than the WM Media Player. You will not have the buffering problems that the WM Media Player has. Your videos will play smoothly without interruptions. It also plays a wider range of video format than the WM Media Player.

I also recommend DVD Catalyst GT for converting DVD's to playable video files for your IPAQ. It is easy to use and costs less than $20.

I really enjoy my IPAQ. I hope these suggestions help you get more enjoyment out of yours.

Summary: Best Anniversary Present
Comment: I bought this for my husband on our Anniversary. He loved it has really come in handy from him as he needs a lot of phone numbers to be stored for work and a calendar to keep his ever changing work schedule in. Also, allows him to access wireless internet if he needs to.

Summary: Dissapointed
Comment: When I got my Rx1955 I was impressed with the wifi capabilities. Later I was extremely dissapointed that it lacked bluetooth functionality to sync with other devices. I also was dissapointed by the fact that it crashed frequently and had to be reset (windows mobile's fault). My Rx1955 ended up dying, the lcd decided that it would just show bars and not anything else one day. I called hp and they said replacement would cost around 200 bucks with the trade in (I went online and got the next model up with bluetooth instead).
