Comment: Purchased as a gift for my granddaughter. Unfortunately, the IPOD shuffle that went with it stopped working within a month. This resulted in the connector not being used much. As far as I know, it did work okay though.

Comment: Be aware this is not compatable with the newest version of shuffle currently on the market - you need an old shuffle for this to be of any use.

Comment: I bought the iPod Shuffle Dock Connector to help my wife keep her iPod Shuffle battery charged. It is very convenient to pop the iPod into the dock whenever it is not in use. Formerly, my wife had some difficulty getting the iPod Shuffle correctly plugged into her iBook and sometimes it failed to charge the battery. Now, she always finds her iPod ready to use - fully charged. When she is finished using the iPod, she easily pops it into the dock. It is a great convenience.
