Comment: Ideal for everyday listening in my office and for taking on the road or outside on battery power. It was smaller than I expected when it arrived but it seemed bigger as soon as the volume was cranked up. Certainly not a power music machine bur very satisfying for a potable. It has been reliable for months now while being used almost every day. The speakers are also handy for my laptop.

Comment: This product was everything it was described to be. Its light, mobile, and has very good sound quality. If I had an opportunity to change anything on the product, I would like to have more volume from the speakers.

Summary: A few problems but good overall
Comment: The IN510 has excellent sound quality given its size. But there are a few problems that Altec Lansing should think about if they make a newer similar speaker:
(1) No remote. This isn't as much of an issue for me as I have no problem getting up and skipping to the next song.
(2) The player has no volume memory and the default volume setting is quite loud. I would suggest leaving it on (it doesn't appear to get warm if it's not charging the player).

Summary: Broke after 8 months
Comment: I have had this for about 8 months now and the speakers just quit on me the other day. They had very little volume when they did work and now all I hear is loud buzzing. I wish I had not wasted my money. If you do buy this, do yourself a favor and save all documentation for the eventual return you WILL make.

It's so cool, it's hot! The iM510 sound system is for all those times when you want to take off the headphones and get loose. It delivers surprisingly powerful, room-filling sound. It's shock-resistant. There's no better portable system for your favorite room, or for the road.
