Comment: My son LOVES this mobile! This is the first toy that ever entertained him. He would lay in his crib and stare at it for several minutes when he was just a week or two old. The brightly colored animals dancing all around him absolutely mesmerized him! Now he is 4 months old and still loves it. When he wakes up early in the morning, he spins himself around to look and coo at it. We'll be sad to have to take it down in a few weeks!

Comment: Our 5 weeks old baby loves this mobil. When awake and calm, she loves to follow the 3 animals and just stares and smiles. It has also been very helpful when she is fuzzy. The music calms her down, and even makes her fall asleep.

Comment: Our son LOVED this mobile! And so did his mommy and daddy! It played a very long time and kept him happy! It is so cute with all those animals on it!

Summary: Symphony NOT in Motion...wish it had lasted
Comment: I must first say I gave this mobile 3 stars because my son LOVED it. Unfortunately just about the time he started to coo and babble (6 weeks old) so we knew he loved it, the motor quit. The music still played, but the mobile would not budge. I returned it for a new one, but that one was broken when I got it home, so I started to do some more research and found that the motor quitting is really common with this one. It's a shame, because it's a great mobile developmentally for the baby, and like I said, my son loved it. If you don't mind exchanging it for a new one every few weeks or months, then by all means, buy this mobile. It just did not seem to be worth the aggravation for our family, so we bought the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders mobile. It sounds nicer and has many more features for less money. I don't think it would be as good for a newborn, but now that my son is almost 2 months old and can see better, I think it will suit him very well.
