Summary: Simple, Inexpensive Way to Play Your iPod in Your Car
Comment: If your car has a cassette player (even though you probably haven't used it in a long time), this adapter is a great, inexpensive way of playing your iPod over your car radio. It's easy to use and the clarity is not too bad....although serious musicphiles will likely argue over sound quality in comparison to more elaborate and more expensive alternatives. If you want a simple and inexpensive way to use your iPod in your car --without spending the big $$, this adapter from Sony is the way to go!

Comment: I use this for my iPod in my 1998 4-Runner and I just love it! It was so easy to use--just put the tape in and connected the headphone jack to your device. The sound is excellent.
IMPORTANT TIP:
Make sure the volume on your device is high, but not at MAX. If the volume on your device is too loud, this can ruin the sound with static and scratching. Don't think you have to "inject all of the device power through the cassette player". Using a normal volume on the device will allow you to have better control of the overall volume using the car's dial.

Comment: I played it in my 99 ford expedition thank God the tape deck still works it didnt work on one side so I pressed my auto reverse button. The sounds were so great I didnt want to get out my car. It sound better than my CDs no lie. If you want to get the most out of that expensive BB curve I have the 8820 buy this product you will be satisfied.
