Summary: Excellent Product
Comment: I have been an engineer in the recording industry 40 yrs. I bought the E3C ear canal phones for monitoring live recordings I make with a mini disc recorder & as reference monitors for speaker evaluation. The Shures are the only ear canal phones that require no equalization.
They have very smooth nearly flat frequency response & great transient response. I highly recommend them to anyone who does critical listening, requiring a mirror image of the original source material.

Comment: Bought these to replace a misplaced pair. They had some distortion at low volume and tossed on a shelf as I found the lost ones. I happen to live nearish the Shure location and brought the headphones in for repair. Within 5 minutes, I walked out with a new pair in exchange for the distorted ones. Very friendly, and really good headphones. I've bought them twice and would again (just not going to lose them now...).

Comment: I just have this earphone in a week but I think my sony cost $20 sound much better than this one (THIS COST ME $140), SO DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ONE.

i've using cheap earphones and this was my first time making decision about buying E3C earphone...and it is AWSOME.
Q:is it worth it?
A:yes, sound quality is awsome.However,this was my first time using expensive and good earphones.so in my opnion this earphone is best earphone i ever used it.

Q:people have problem with the FIT,why is that?
A:ok..after i got this earphone i was about to return this thing because fit was really horrible and sound was same as $20 sony earphone,but thank god..if u buy this product,they give u 6different size and foams.I finally found my best fittinf foam and I turned on my music and bam..

1.Find the foam that fits PERFECTLY to your ear..this is very ez or hard thing to do after u get this item.(i use black one..medium size..)
2.REGISTER!!<-- you must register quick as possible to get 2yr warrenty(spell chick plz some1..) ALSO->you need receipt..
